Kiku Obata & Company

Kyoko Wainai is a Japanese-born, London-based textile and handbag designer renowned for her simple, everyday bags crafted from sumptuous fabrics, printed textiles, and ribbons. To showcase her designs, our studio developed an e-commerce platform that supports both online orders and bespoke made-to-order commissions. We collaborated with photographer Céline Bodin to capture the essence of her work, highlighting the rich textures, refined details and femininity of her creations. Additionally, we designed Kyoko’s minimal yet elegant brand identity, featuring debossed paper stocks that subtly echo her eclectic approach to textiles.
