Flock Food Truck Park aims to serve as a cornerstone in Alton’s cultural and economic revitalization, fostering community connections and supporting local food producers. Commissioned by AltonWorks, Kiku Obata & Company reimagined the site to create a vibrant hub in downtown Alton.

The project involved transforming a long-disused maintenance shed into a lively food truck park and bar. The structure was reinforced to accommodate new glass doors, reclad with a metal panel exterior, and redesigned to feature an inviting interior bar and café seating.

Beyond the building itself, we developed a comprehensive site plan to host a rotating line-up of food trucks, exterior seating, and space for community events. Additionally, our team created the park’s brand identity and designed all on-site signage, seamlessly blending the visual and physical aspects of the experience.
